International Science and Practice Conference "Advanced Mathematical Methods of Space Information Processing and Analysis"

The Conference Committee cordially invited scientists, researchers and those who work in more practical roles to share their scientific and professional opinions. The Conference program included discussion challenges in the area of remote sensing data processing and interpretation, advanced methods for satellite image processing, problems of modern geographic information systems development.

The Conference focused on four key areas:

  • modern algorithms and methods for image recognition and processing of remote Earth Sensing data;
  • methods for processing Earth Remote Sensing data and decision-making in operational monitoring;
  • efficiency, opportunities and potential of mathematical methods of space information processing and analysis including the latest innovations, trends and practical challenges of new mathematical models' application;
  • models, algorithms and mathematical techniques, necessary for efficient satellite monitoring.

Format: plenary session, breakout sessions, round-table discussions.

The languages of the Conference were: Russian, Ukrainian, English.

The I International Science and Practice Forum «Science and Business»

The I International Science and Practice Forum is a summary of work to introduce the advantages of science into work of IT companies. The Forum is a follow-up of five Science and Business conferences that we have held over the last three years.

The Forum brought together leading entrepreneurs and prominent scientists from Ukraine, Latvia, Czech Republic, Georgia and USA. These specialists hosted discussions on mathematics, economics, software development, knowledge management, information management systems, and artificial intelligence.

The Forum was held at three venues:

  1. The first one was held on June 29 – 30, 2015 in Dnipropetrovsk at Oles Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University;
  2. The second one was an intermediate stage that was held on July 1 in Kiev at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. It was organized for participants, who attended both the first and the third venues. In this session there were lectures held at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
  3. The third session was held on July 2 – 3, 2015 in Chernivtsi, Ukraine at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

The topic of the Forum was Knowledge economy.

The languages of the Forum were Russian, Ukrainian, English.

The Forum was focused on four key areas:

  • innovative management. Knowledge economy;
  • mathematical models of data processing systems;
  • labor productivity and data bases in enterprise management;
  • innovative technologies.

The Forum program included a symphonic music concert performed by violinist soloist Takashi Shimizu, Professor from Tokyo University of Arts.

The V International Science and Practice conference “Science and business: knowledge economy" was held in Dnipropetrovsk on February 9-10, 2015.

The reports and presentations delivered within the general meeting of the conference highlighted the relevant problems of the knowledge economy and semiotics, use of knowledge bases in company management, and performance standards in IT.

The Conference attracted more than 120 participants, 44 speeches were presented and 48 summaries were published in the collection of abstracts.

The series of reports were dedicated to the achievements of projects' and companies' heads in IT as well as leading scientists in the field of science and business synergy.

The program of the conference included round tables that highlighted real world questions about the cooperation between science and business. Their topics were: “The Knowledge Economy", “Mathematicial models of data processing systems", “Human resources of IT companies".

The conference became a platform for fruitful conversation, constructive dialogue and effective knowledge sharing with leading scientists from academia and business.

The IV International Science and Practice Conference “Knowledge Bases and their Key Role in Progress of Knowledge-Driven Economy of Modern Information Society" was held in Lviv on July 7-9, 2014.

The conference participants presented their elaborations in the field of database development as well as principles and methods of knowledge management.

The conference attracted more than 90 participants from 11 higher institutions and organizations. 26 summaries were submitted to be printed in the collection of abstracts and 29 speeches were presented.

  • Knowledge base development and application in companies, and their key role in IT system engineering
  • Semantic Wiki and multimedia knowledge bases
  • Web mathematical models and Internet data mining
  • Mathematical methods in the theory of IT system engineering and operation
